Stephan Kesting demonstrates two half guard sweeps against two common half guard passes: the sit through pass and the back step pass. (1) When your opponent sits through without a reverse underhook, clasp your hands together and turn to sweep him over. (2) When your opponent back steps to pass, grap his trapped knee and place your foot as a hook under his leg. Then lift with both your hand and your foot to sweep him over.
